Earth Coffee, a community-focused independent café, plans to expand to Little Elm this fall. The café is eyeing a space at 305 E. Eldorado Pkwy., Suite 320. What Now Austin spoke with founder Rajesh R, who shared that he plans to open sometime between late August and early September 2026, mirroring the timeline of the original Irving location’s debut.

The brand behind the expansion is anything but a typical coffee chain. Rajesh R, a 24-year IT industry veteran who spent decades traveling the world closing corporate deals over café tables, launched Earth Coffee with a clear philosophy: to create a warm, neighborhood café where community comes first.

“My ultimate goal was to create a warm local neighborhood café,” he told What Now Austin. “You’re not going to just get a high-quality coffee; you’re going to get an experience.”

That experience starts with what’s in the cup. All coffees and teas at Earth Coffee are organic and sourced from an Austin-based roastery that Rajesh hand-selected after visiting suppliers across Texas, Los Angeles, and Arkansas. He also trained at the Texas Coffee School in Arlington before opening, ensuring every decision—from bean origin to roast profile—was grounded in expertise. The menu spans global coffee traditions and includes the café’s two signature best-sellers: South Indian filter coffee and a Spanish latte, each prepared the way it’s meant to be, according to Rajesh.

Food receives the same level of attention. Every ingredient is fresh—avocados are sliced only after an order is placed, and sandwiches are made to order, never frozen. That commitment to quality extends to Earth Coffee’s catering business, which already serves corporate clients each month with large sandwich orders and custom packaging.

The atmosphere at the Irving location reflects the brand’s philosophy. Live plants fill every corner, the furniture is comfortable and inviting, and seating is designed to accommodate everything from casual conversations to business meetings. Notably, every barista hired for opening day remains on staff.

That culture has resonated with customers. Within roughly 10 months of opening, the Irving café has grown to about 800 registered loyalty members, with an estimated 85% to 90% joining organically through word of mouth—numbers that gave Dayal the confidence to expand.

Little Elm was chosen deliberately. The city’s rapid growth, attracting families, professionals, and students alike, aligns with the type of community Earth Coffee was built to serve. Looking ahead, the company’s expansion plans remain focused on North Texas, with additional DFW-area locations and continued growth of its catering business on the horizon.
