Wok n Fire in Burr Ridge has announced its permanent closure. The landmark Pan-Asian restaurant will serve its last meal on April 26. The team announced the closure in a social media post.

Wok n Fire to Close After 16 Years

A sushi-centric restaurant, Wok n Fire at 590 Village Center Drive in Burr Ridge, Illinois, is preparing to close its doors. The restaurant is known for its mix of Asian cuisines and lively atmosphere.

The team confirmed the closure in Facebook post. In the post, they wrote, “After 16 years, Wok n Fire Burr Ridge is closing its doors. Our last day open will be Sunday, April 26.”

The restaurant menu focuses on cuisine from Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand. Signature items include the Spicy Tuna Roll, St. Charles Roll, and Crab Rangoon.

Customers shared messages of disappointment on social media following the announcement.

One of them commented, “Very sad news, but wishing you all the best! This has been one of my favorites in Burr Ridge. Will definitely stop by one last time this weekend!”

Remaining Wok n Fire Locations in Illinois Stay Open

While the Burr Ridge location is closing, Wok n Fire will continue operating in St. Charles and South Barrington.

Founded in 2002, the restaurant serves fresh sushi prepared using the highest quality ingredients. The restaurant uses fresh fish delivered overnight from Hawaii and Japanese rice sourced from California.

In addition to its food menu, the restaurant also features an extensive wine selection and cocktails. The restaurant service is known for its staff members and their welcoming environment.

As the restaurant winds its 16-year journey in the Burr Ridge area, Wok n Fire invites the community to visit and enjoy one last meal.
