Fulton Market District is not only a happening area for new restaurants.
The BÜNDA fitness team is working on their latest location coming to 166 N Aberdeen Street, Retail A in West Loop. The gyms/studios around the country are known for glute training and stair master options. Co-Founder Kevin Lilly told What Now Chicago the team is hoping to open in December or January 2027.
“More stairs. More strength. More of that feeling you get when you finish a workout you didn’t think you could do,” says a recent post on the BÜNDA West Loop Facebook page.
BÜNDA currently has two locations in the Windy City, in Lincoln Park and Old Town. The concept was founded in 2018 by Kevin and his wife, Katie Lilly, and the two have found success with their gyms in markets like California, Texas and Florida. The company first moved into the Chicago area in 2024 in Old Town at 1226 N Wells Street.
Locations offer training classes, with registration starting at $35. Sessions are designed to focus on lower-body training, as well as fat loss and joint strength. Many locations also feature free weights and other machines for lower body movement.
The storefront is on the west side of N Aberdeen Street, across from restaurants including Gyuro Ramen and Forno Rosso Pizzeria Napoletana. The Morgan Green and Pink line station is a couple blocks east of the location.
Lilly will be providing updates on the opening date as construction progresses. For more information on BÜNDA and other future locations, visit the company website.
