FreshFin Planning New Location in Naperville

The Milwaukee-based poke restaurant is planned for Block 59.

FreshFin, a popular poke restaurant based in Milwaukee, is planning a new location for Block 59 in Naperville. 

The business currently has three locations in Milwaukee, two in Madison, Wisconsin, and two in Utah. The restaurant features many different poke bowls to choose from, including the spicy tuna, curry coconut, mango tango and cilantro chicken. They also have seared selections like teriyaki salmon, mango-miso salmon and teriyaki chicken.

The newest location is coming to 404 Illinois Route 59, according to Block 59 Naperville’s website. 

“We are currently under construction to bring you a mix of dining and entertainment options,” said a statement from Block 59’s website.

FreshFin Poke is known for its eco-friendly practices, serving sustainable protein that is free from steroids. For to-go orders, reusable bowls and recyclable containers are used. The goal of the business is to donate more than 100,000 meals to their communities.

FreshFin Poke will be in the Block 59 shopping mall and across the street from the popular Fox Valley Mall. When speaking with the City of Naperville, there was no confirmed opening date. Manager of Projects & Corporate Initiatives for FreshFin Alex Wilgenbusch said the restaurant is expected to open by the end of 2025.
