Tropical Smoothie Cafe is expanding in Chicago with a new Logan Square location set to open later this month, complete with discounts and free smoothie giveaways for customers.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe to Open in Logan Square
Tropical Smoothie Cafe will open on June 27, directly across from the Blue Line station. The store is located at 2620 N Milwaukee Avenue.
The new cafe is owned by franchisees Cesar Coronado and Marion Sullivan. They already operate 11 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations across the Chicago area. They plan to continue expanding the brand across the region.
Guests can expect the chain’s lineup of made-to-order smoothies alongside wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and quesadillas. It will also feature self-order kiosks and grab-and-go options for customers.
“Logan Square has such a strong sense of community and energy, which made it a natural fit for our next cafe,” said Coronado. “We look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood, connecting with local residents and businesses, and creating a spot where people can stop in for fresh, flavorful food and smoothies throughout the day.”
The brand currently operates more than 1,600 locations across 44 states. It is the largest smoothie chain in the United States. This new opening adds to its growing numbers and nationwide presence.
Grand Opening Event
For the opening, the brand has planned something special for customers. Customers will receive 50% off their orders on opening day. The company will also give away 10,000 free smoothies to the local community before and after opening day.
Local businesses can sign up to receive complimentary smoothie drop-offs for their employees. The community is encouraged to join in the celebrations and be a part of the grand opening.
