Ever wanted to go out for a drink with your dog? Let’s face it, our furry companions are our best friends and who better than a best friend to go out drinking with? A dog park with an outdoor bar, Fetch Park is about to make this possible for us very soon.
The concept that originated in Atlanta is coming to Colorado Springs this Spring to a location off Interquest Highway. Founded by Stephen Ochs “out of a desire to be able to hang out with both his beloved boxer Oakley and his friends,” according to Fetch Park’s official website, when Ochs “was tired of having to make the impossible choice of hanging out with friends after work for happy hour drinks, or the dog park with his best friend.”
We relate to this deeply and can’t wait to go out with all our friends–pawed and human–to the same location. Fetch Park regularly hosts events like “Bark and Banter” (live stand-up), “Could It Bae” (Bumble mixer) and an “Unleashed & Unplugged” live music series.
Humans (as long as they are house-broken) are allowed to roam free, but dogs require a membership. You can see the membership options here. They also offer daily passes for $10.
So why not fetch yourself a beer while playing fetch.
