High Country, a new downtown Boulder restaurant, is preparing for its grand opening. The business will offer elevated comfort fare in a laid-back forest atmosphere, at 1117 Pearl St., Travel Boulder reports.

Managed by Michael Mehiel and supported by Executive Chef Brian Pierce, High Country is the brainchild of the team behind Gemini, a popular establishment that is right next door. The lease has been secured for the next 15 years and hiring is ongoing.

“Brought to you by the family that launched Gemini two years ago, High Country now brings the same ethic, intention, and integrity to the kitchen and bar right next door! Fresh energy and a Classic Concept – sure to be a good time,” Mehiel tells What Now Denver.

The eatery promises a diverse menu that caters to all palates: salads, burgers, ribs, brisket, and wings, as well as a bar with a commendable cocktail program. Whether it’s a quick lunch, a satisfying dinner, or a late-night hangout, High Country promises to be the go-to destination for food, drinks, and good times on Pearl Street.
