Lilac Coffee is expanding its Denver footprint with a third location planned at Hub North.
New owners of Hub North, Balfour Pacific and Tourmaline Capital Partners recently announced the new coffee shop and plans to enhance RiNo’s Hub North with a redesigned lobby and adjacent all-day café.
In a press release the owners said construction is expected to commence this month and the new lobby and café are expected to open in Fall 2026.
Lilac Coffee has built its reputation around delivering specialty coffee that is both approachable and exceptional, and has earned a loyal following through its focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality.
Founder and owner of Lilac Coffee Josiah Kim said his passion for specialty coffee was born in Colorado and is what started Lilac Coffee. “It’s our deep commitment to our people – both our incredible team and the Denver community – that drives us forward.
“We are a truly local cafe, built on the belief that everyone deserves good coffee, and we could not be more excited to enter RiNo and join the community at Hub North. There’s so much momentum in the neighborhood and we look forward to being part of the growth story as Hub North unveils a new lobby experience,” he said.
Customers can expect Lilac Coffee’s signature menu, featuring the Honey Lilac Latte, rotating seasonal beverages and a variety of food options.
The new location will offer the same focus on quality coffee and hospitality that has helped build Lilac Coffee’s reputation in Denver. Unlike a traditional grab-and-go café, the Hub North location is being designed as a space where guests can relax, meet and spend time in the café environment.
In September 2025, Balfour Pacific and Tourmaline Capital Partners purchased Hub North, a 107,000-square-foot office property.
