A new concept serving hot dogs and melts is coming to the county near the Ohio border.
Mimi’s Gourmet Cafe is a new project for the owner of Mimi’s Creations in Lenawee County. An address has not yet been released, but it is coming to the Adrian area. According to a recent post, the team will be operating at Adrian Armory Events Center until they secure a brick and mortar this fall.
The cafe is being marketed as a gourmet hot dogs spot, while also serving patty melts, BBQ sandwiches and refreshing drinks. Sweet treats like cookies will be offered as well.
“Made fresh, served with love where every bite feels like home. Fresh flavors and friendly smiles bringing gourmet comfort to every bite,” says the online description.
Shelley Morgan is the owner of Mimi’s, who has held pop-ups in the past showcasing her business Mimi’s Creations. At the pop-ups, like the Adrian City Market, she sells her naturally sweet jams, rice krispy popsicles, popcorn and handmade soaps. Morgan also has served fresh ground coffee at the farmers market in the past.
