What Now reported in the beginning of April on plans for Boost Coffee + Energy, a new concept from franchise veterans Mike Murray and Joe Herlihy, to make its debut in Jacksonville. And now, that debut is about to happen! Boost Coffee will celebrate its grand opening at 7253 103rd St in Jacksonville next week.
The week will start with a soft opening running Sunday through Tuesday, during which time Boost Coffee will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. During the soft open, you can download the Boost Coffee app for a free medium drink added to your account.
The Grand Opening on Wednesday will feature free medium drinks for everybody; Thursday will feature Happy Hour prices (50% off) all day; and the Friday and Saturday promotion will be buy-one-get-one-for-$1. Sunday, the last day of festivities, is called Give Awesomeness Day: Boost Coffee will donate $2 from every drink to Friends of Jacksonville Animals, with whom the company will be partnering long-term to provide support to Jacksonville’s animals and animal shelters. There will also be special gifts for the first 100 dogs.
“We want our furry friends to come through,” Chief Market Officer Monica McDaniels told What Now on Tuesday. “People are always looking for something to do together with their dogs. So bring them here and have a moment of joy!”
After the launch, Boost Coffee + Energy is already setting its sights on expansion, with two more openings planned for the fall. An opening is expected at 104 Ashourian Avenue in St. Augustine this August, and in Yulee this September. Another 6 or 7 locations are in the pipeline, McDaniels said, as the brand seeks to make its mark and eventually move forward to franchise-led growth.
