Pleasanton will welcome its first location of Chick-fil-A on Thursday, July 23, 2026. The restaurant at 620 W. Oaklawn Road will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering, third-party delivery, and Mobile Thru service.
Pleasanton Gets Its First Chick-fil-A
The new Chick-fil-A will open with a “Moove-In Party”. Guests of all ages who wear cow-print clothing or accessories can receive a complimentary entrée or kids’ meal. No purchase is required. The offer is limited to one redemption per person while supplies last.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the drive-thru until 10 p.m. The new location is expected to generate about 100 job opportunities.
Customers can enjoy a variety of menu items. These include the Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill, 4-ct Chick-n-Minis®, Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Nuggets.
From High School Team Member to Owner-Operator
The opening is also a debut of local owner-operator Veronica Vasquez. She started at Chick-fil-A in 2006 as a team member in her San Antonio high school. This experience motivated her to pursue a long-term career with the company.
Vasquez said opening Pleasanton’s first Chick-fil-A fulfills a lifelong goal of owning a business. She also shared that, “As the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Pleasanton, I’m committed to creating a welcoming environment where Guests feel cared for, and Team Members have opportunities to grow—just as I experienced when I started my own journey with Chick-fil-A.”
Community Initiatives at the Forefront
The restaurant’s opening will be accompanied by several community-focused efforts. Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America’s partner, the San Antonio Food Bank. The donation will support the San Antonio Food Bank through Feeding America’s partner network.
The Pleasanton restaurant will also join the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program. Through this program, it will donate excess food to local nonprofits. The program has helped to serve over 42 million meals across the country, according to the company.
Chick-fil-A is famous for its chicken sandwiches, hospitality, and a menu of whole chicken breast and fresh produce.
