Sprouts Farmers Market is set to expand its footprint in the San Antonio-area suburbs with a new location planned for Cibolo Crossing, according to recent project filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The natural and organic grocery chain is expected to open at 17980 I-35, Suite 175, in Cibolo, TX, where it will occupy approximately 24,439 square feet within the retail development.
Project documents show that the build-out is listed as a new construction project with an estimated investment of $3 million. Construction is scheduled to begin on May 26, 2026, with completion anticipated by April 23, 2027.
The project scope includes a new build-to-suit Sprouts Farmers Market within Cibolo Crossing, a growing retail center along the I-35 corridor. Cromwell Street, LLC, is listed as the property owner, while Cuhaci Peterson is the design firm behind the project.
Sprouts Farmers Market is known for its focus on fresh produce, natural foods, vitamins, and specialty grocery items, and continues to expand across Texas as demand for health-focused grocery options grows.
While additional details on the store’s opening timeline have not yet been announced, the project registration signals continued growth for the brand in the region.
