Ironsmith Coffee Roasters, a veteran-owned specialty coffee shop and roastery, is opening a second location in Oceanside at 1116 S. Coast Highway.
The company’s new location will be part of Eucalyptus Grove, a renovated retail center at 1112–1126 S. Coast Highway, according to a Retail Insite leasing brochure. The Oceanside shop will occupy a 1,049-square-foot space and is expected to open following the center’s remodel, which is estimated for completion in Q3 2026. Customers can expect Ironsmith’s coffee program featuring house-roasted beans, espresso drinks, and other cafe offerings.
Founded in North County, Ironsmith Coffee Roasters currently operates its flagship location at 458 S. Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas. The company focuses on sourcing coffee directly from growers around the world, with its team traveling to coffee-producing regions to learn about farming practices and select beans for its roasting program. The company has also been featured in U.S. and international publications and has participated in coffee roasting competitions.
The Oceanside location will join several other businesses coming to Eucalyptus Grove, including Modern Blonde Salon and SweatDreams. The property is being remodeled by new ownership and will feature updated storefronts, a new signage plan, and additional retail and dining spaces. The center is located along South Coast Highway near several South Oceanside restaurants and businesses.
Ironsmith Coffee Roasters was founded with a focus on creating a deeper connection between coffee drinkers and the people and places behind each cup. The company works with coffee farmers across regions including Africa, Central America, South America, and Asia, bringing selected beans back to its roastery for small-batch production.
The new Oceanside shop will add another coffee option to a growing area that includes restaurants, breweries, and other local businesses along the South Oceanside corridor. This will be an excellent landing space for Ironsmith Coffee Roasters, as the surrounding area continues to see new development and increased activity along Coast Highway.
