A longtime liquor store in Corona is set to change hands. Tipsy Town Liquor is planned for 619 East 6th Street, Corona,  where owner Rami Aldakhil will take over the former Art’s Liquor space.

While the store will continue serving as a neighborhood liquor and convenience shop, the new owner plans to modernize the space with updated interiors, coolers, and branding. The concept will focus on offering a more elevated experience, particularly through its liquor selection, according to Aldakhil.

“We’re trying to make it a high-end liquor store, with a  modern touch.”

In addition to selling beer, wine, and spirits, the business will continue providing check-cashing services currently offered at the location.

Aldakhil told WhatNow that the name Tipsy Town Liquor was created by his nephew, who is also responsible for the business’s branding and social media efforts. Aldakhil, who already owns several liquor stores across Southern California, said the team is currently focused on renovating the space while maintaining its role as a convenient neighborhood destination.
