Former Florida Golf Course Envisioned As a Residential Property
According to The Business Journal (TBJ), Toll Brothers, a luxury homebuilder from Fort Washington, plans to rezone a former golf course spanning 55.1 acres. The 55-acre site at 7601 E. Country Club Blvd. in Boca Raton has remained vacant since the golf course closed in 2006. The clubhouse was destroyed in a fire in 2010.
Toll Brothers is seeking to rezone the property for a 74-home residential development. Managed by Adrienne Kutner, the Boca Raton Executive Country Club Corp. recently filed rezoning/land use amendments and site plan applications with the city.
If approved, each home lot in Boca Raton’s Hidden Valley neighborhood would span approximately 8,250 square feet. Plans for the 19.6-acre development include a clubhouse, lakes, pickleball courts, a playground, and a pool. The luxury developer has not shared much about the designs and sizes of the homes.
Local Attorney Backs Toll Brothers’ Redevelopment Plan
Ele Zachariades, a local attorney, supported the Florida-based project during Toll Brothers’ application.
Zachariades said the plan would transform an underused private site into a neighborhood that complements the surrounding area and encourages smarter development.
Planning firm Kimley-Horn is working with Toll Brothers on the latest application. If approved, the Boca Raton development could support the city’s broader urban planning goals.
