A well-established Yemeni and Mediterranean restaurant is moving to a new Detroit suburb in the near future.
The owners of Sheeba Restaurant have announced their newest location is coming to 40732 Van Dyke Avenue, Suite B in Sterling Heights. This will be the fourth restaurant for the Detroit area. In the most recent post, work is currently being done inside the space.
“The amount of work that has gone into this place, I know it will far exceed your expectations,” said the owner in the post.
Sheeba is currently located in East Dearborn, West Dearborn, Canton, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Their cuisine options range from breakfast, appetizers, Yemeni dishes like Fahsah and Mushakal, and entrees and platters. Customers would be surprised to not find a Yemeni dish they like as their entrees and sandwich menus are extensive. Teas and desserts are also offered.
This is not the only new addition for the suburb as the coffee shop BonDivan Brunch & Kafe is opening next door. It is under the name Gabriel Aljahmi, who is also opening the Sheeba location. Their cafe in Dearborn at 22048 Michigan Avenue serves lattes, teas, refreshers and pastries.
The newest Sheeba is next to Dollar General, and in the same plaza as Las Tortugas Taqueria. This is at the corner of 18 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue. The restaurant looks to be opening soon as the walls are mostly up and furniture is being unraveled.
