It looks like more chicken might be on the horizon for Memphis diners. Paperwork shows that a new concept called Flamez Wings & Grille has plans to open in the area soon.
Documents filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development show that the eatery will be opening at 8081 E Shelby Drive. Flamez Wings & Grille was issued both a commercial electrical permit and a sign permit in late July. The eatery has an application for a sign permit license listed as “active” as of July 28.
Very little information about the concept is available beyond this. Documents show that Flamez Wings & Grille filed as a Limited-Liability Company with the Tennessee Department of State on May 30 of this year, further demonstrating the restaurant’s steady progress towards an opening day.
Flamez Wings & Grille does not yet have a digital footprint. Customers can safely assume, based on the name, that the eatery will focus on the titular wings, though the “grille” aspect leaves room for ample expansion.
