Mano A Mano Slated to Open in Logan Square

According to a recent permit filing, Mano A Mano has filed for a Logan Square location at 2534 N Milwaukee Avenue.

A representative of Mano A Mano was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Chicago’s request.

While an official opening date and what Mano A Mano plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, four people are listed behind Mano A Mano. Those four people, or groups, are Ballyhoo Hospitality, DPHC Management, Douglas Psaltis, and Ryan O’Donnell.

According to Ballyhoo Hospitality’s website, “Ballyhoo Hospitality is the destination for feel-good dining. Founded by longtime hospitality industry veterans Ryan and Anna O’Donnell, Ballyhoo delivers the restaurant experience that guests crave.”

“By pairing inspired menus with a unique ambiance, Ballyhoo focuses on all things quality – from the meals to the atmosphere and above all, the service. Ballyhoo is redefining neighborhood dining throughout Chicago and the North Shore with restaurants including Gemini, Coda di Volpe, Old Pueblo Cantina, Sophia Steak, Pomeroy, Buck Russell’s, Pizza by Sal, DeNucci’s, and continues to expand to more communities.”

For DPHC Management or DPHCreative according to the company website, “DPHCreative is a strategy, concept development, and hospitality management consultancy with husband-and-wife restaurateur duo Doug Psaltis and Hsing Chen.”

“Doug is a Michelin-star chef and restaurateur with more than twenty years of experience running some of the country’s most esteemed establishments. His expertise and insight into restaurant concept development along with front and back-of-house house operations has made him a much sought-after specialist globally.”
