Beer will still be flowing at a popular beer location in city limits.

Pollyanna Brewing will soon have a new brewery at 4055 W Peterson Avenue on the northwest side of the city. It follows the closure of Alarmist Brewing in February of this year, which was open since 2014. An opening date has not been announced, but the new beer spot will debut sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.

The purchase of the new location was carried out by President of Pollyanna Ryan Weidner. His brewery operates in Lemont in two locations, Roselle and in St. Charles. This will be his fifth beer spot in Chicagoland.

Beer options range from year-round to seasonal options, with a summer option being the “Summerly” fittingly. This is a wheat ale with raspberry flavor. American and Mexican lagers, IPAs and ales are also on tap at the locations.

The brewery space is on the south side of W Peterson Avenue, across from Jersey Mike’s Subs and a Dunkin’. This is close to the intersection of N Sauganash and N Rogers avenues. The on-ramp to Interstate 94 is just west of the location.
