A new dining option will serve the developing downtown by mid-summer.

Table 42 is a new upscale concept planned for downtown Farmington at 32821 Grand River Avenue. The space will feature an outdoor patio with capacity for 45-50 people. Owner Daniel Hanna told What Now Detroit there is not an opening date yet, but the team is hoping to debut in July.

Hanna said this has been in the plans for a few months. He is working with Daniel Azar, owner and operator at Basement Burger Bar with multiple locations around Detroit. While the team is not releasing a menu yet, it will be an American restaurant with “international flare.”

“It will be something different,” Hanna said. He added there will be a full bar inside with craft beverages.

Table 42 is moving into the same address as The Krazy Crab seafood restaurant. This is on the east side of downtown Farmington, with other nearby cuisine spots including Sidecar Slider Bar, Thai Kitchen and Taques Bar & Grill. Right across the street is The Gazebo Park.

No social media has been set up for the restaurant yet, but future updates can be found on their website.
