Delicious fast-casual chicken is so close to a Turnersville debut, residents can practically taste the poultry. Raising Cane’s has officially begun construction on its latest neighborhood location, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway.

The chicken giant’s Turnersville site has been cleared and the foundation has been laid at 5241 Route 42. There is still considerable work to be done before Cane’s projected opening in the first quarter of 2025. The Raising Cane’s website currently states the restaurant will begin greeting and feeding guests on February 4 of next year.

The popular fast-casual chain has been making a strong push into New Jersey. Cane’s currently has four storefronts open and operational in the Garden State, with several more in development.

Founded in Louisiana in 1996, Raising Cane’s has earned a massive fan following through its simple but effective menu. The concept allows visitors to choose between chicken fingers or sandwiches, while selecting Texas Toast, crinkle fries, or cole slaw as a side. Self-proclaimed Caniacs are particularly fond of the chain’s signature sauce.
