A popular concept is making sure that breakfast and lunch in Manalapan will never be the same. Toast City Diner is planning to open its fifth location in the area this winter, reports local media outlet Asbury Park Press.

Construction has begun on the restaurant’s newest home at 357 Route 9 South, earlier this month. The space previously housed Project Brunch, which closed this August. While a grand opening date is not available, Toast City owners Amy Russo and Adam Torine are hoping to begin feeding customers this winter.

Russo has expressed enthusiasm about the new location in a press release, stating “We’re incredibly excited to bring Toast to Manalapan and the surrounding communities. Our goal is to bring the unique charm and flavors that have made Toast a favorite breakfast and lunch spot for over 17 years with another location in Monmouth County.”

Toast City Diner has developed a solid fan following with its four other New Jersey locations. The concept currently has locations up and running in Montclair, Asbury Park, Red Bank, and Cranford. While the Manalapan diner will share some commonalities with its siblings, the eatery will be unique and unto itself. Russo explains that it will “have a bit of Asbury and Cranford (combined)…I want each location to look a little bit unique.”
