According to public filings, Hashtag India plans to open at 8048 Cleveland Gibbs Road, Suite 100, in Northlake, at the corner of FM 407 and Cleveland-Gibbs Road.
What Now Dallas reached out to franchise owner Mary Sindhu Dodda to inquire about the opening timeline, but she declined to share details at this time. However, construction is scheduled to begin in December 2026, with completion targeted for December 2027.
Hashtag India was founded with a mission to share the heart and soul of Indian cuisine with the world, according to the brand’s website.
The chain says its approach honors centuries of Indian culinary heritage while presenting traditional flavors for the modern palate. Signature dishes include Jalapeño Chicken, Guntur Kodivepudu, and Mutton Mandi, alongside classic desserts such as kulfi and falooda.
The Northlake location would mark the brand’s eighth restaurant in Texas. Nearby locations include Irving, Aubrey, and McKinney.
Northlake has emerged as one of the fastest-growing cities in Denton County, attracting a wave of national and independent concepts in recent years. What Now Dallas has previously covered the city’s growing dining scene, including Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill, which opened earlier this month, and Function Coffee Co., a specialty roaster that opened earlier this year.
