An entrepreneur is getting ready to debut her drink spot soon.
Elk Street Nutrition is opening their first brick-and-mortar at 21 E Elk Street in downtown Sandusky. This will be serving mainly hydrating drinks for the community. Staff told What Now Detroit the team is hoping to open in a few weeks, depending on approvals from the health department.
“Healthy shakes, energizing teas, good vibes!” Says the description on their Facebook page. Flavors will include raspberry colada, green apple and blood orange with pink starburst.
While the drinks are the main menu items, the team has also sold protein balls and coffees in the past. The business is already delivering drinks to those who order online or by phone. Delivery areas include Carsonville, Peck, Port Sanilac and Marlette.
The nutrition spot is coming to the east side of S Elk Street, across from Knead Bakery. Elk Street Brewery & Tap Room and Mainstreet Cafe are also close-by. The city is an hour and 40 minute drive from downtown Detroit.
