A therapy center is being transformed into a cafe for the West Michigan community.
On their social media, the owners of Simply Roasted Cafe announced their location is coming to 6441 96th Avenue this year. Right now, construction is happening inside, and bar tops are being installed. Owners Abi and Greg Simmons are aiming for a June opening date.
“From rich aromas to cozy moments, everything we do is crafted with care for our community,” says the Facebook post announcing the cafe.
A menu will be released closer to the opening, but visitors can expect lattes and espresso drinks. Until the team can brew coffee inside, construction needs to be done on the interior.
The owners are already planning on getting involved in community events, including the Dandelion Festival on May 2 in Borculo, the community where Simply Roasted will open. The two will be out serving participants involved in the parade, and have been given a bronze sponsorship.
The space is on the north side of Zeeland, across from The Spot ice cream shop. Also down 96th Avenue is Stromboli’s Express pizza restaurant. It is about a 10 minute drive north of downtown Zeeland.
When What Now Detroit reached out to the Simmons, they were not available for comment. More information on Simply Roasted Cafe can be found on their Instagram or Facebook pages.
