Taqueria El Plebe, owned by Carlos Lopez, will soon open in Arlington at 4935 New Airline Ave, nestled inside the Exxon at the same address. The impending opening was gleaned from a leasing report shared with What Now Memphis, along with the eatery’s Certificate of Occupancy.
Unfortunately, our attempts to obtain comment from Lopez remain unanswered, leaving uncertainty about the taqueria’s association with a similarly named food truck. If indeed connected, patrons can anticipate a tantalizing menu featuring a variety of Mexican fare such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, Cuban pies, grilled chicken, roast beef fajitas, and nachos, as teased on the food truck’s Facebook page.
