Klatch Coffee, a Southern California family-owned specialty coffee company, is getting ready to open six new locations in San Diego County inside Sprouts Farmers Market stores in San Diego, Carlsbad, Escondido, and Santee.

The company has now confirmed the exact locations after previously announcing plans to expand into San Diego County. The new cafes are expected to open in the latter part of 2026 at Sprouts stores in Clairemont, Mira Mesa, Pacific Beach, Escondido, Santee, and Carlsbad, according to Klatch Coffee. Customers can expect the company’s lineup of specialty espresso drinks, brewed coffee, pastries, breakfast items, and sandwiches.

The newly announced locations include 3015 Clairemont Drive in Clairemont, 8142 Mira Mesa Boulevard in Mira Mesa, and 1260 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach. Additional cafes are planned for 510 West 13th Avenue in Escondido, 9361 Mission Gorge Road in Santee, and 3243 Camino De Los Coches in Carlsbad. What Now San Diego previously reported on Klatch Coffee’s planned expansion into the region through its partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market. At the time, the company had not yet announced the specific San Diego locations. The latest announcement confirms where the first San Diego County cafes will open in late 2026.

Founded in 1993, Klatch Coffee has grown from a single cafe in Rancho Cucamonga into an award-winning coffee company with locations throughout Southern California. The family-owned business is led by founder Mike Perry, who developed the company’s Peak of Flavor roasting method, while Heather Perry serves as CEO. Over the years, Klatch has earned recognition through national and international coffee competitions, including multiple barista championships and roasting awards.

Klatch sources, roasts, and brews its own coffee, offering a menu centered around specialty espresso drinks, brewed coffee, cold brew, teas, and seasonal beverages. Customers can also find pastries, breakfast sandwiches, grab-and-go items, whole-bean coffee, and coffee subscription programs featuring rotating single-origin and espresso selections.
